Our double reed acrylic Tule Call has been so popular that we are now offering it in Bois D' Arc. The wood Tule call is easy to blow, and delivers nothing but pure, raw duck sounds covering mid-range to low quacks and feeds. The wood Tule call is perfect for those times with little wind, still mornings or heavy fog when high volumes are not needed. We can tune your call for either double or single reed. This call offers tremendous value and is a must on your lanyard.

Our Teal / Wigeon whistle is easy to use and blow. When mixed in with Mallard calling, these whistles will have those late season birds diving into your decoys. We now include a whistle drop for your lanyard with each whistle purchase. For Teal, try a series of short, simple "tweets". Or, be really aggressive and âblastâ those greenwings with the call!!! One, or both of these tactics will almost always result in turning otherwise picky birds on a dime!!! For Wigeon, we blow a "wee - hee", and accentuate the âweeâ. Try cupping your hand over the whistle hole by forming a âCâ an inch or so above the call opening. Adjust your hand position so that you are not significantly reducing the air coming out of the opening. With this technique youâre looking to produce a somewhat softer or less bright tone. Once you get this call mastered, Wigeon will talk to you all the way into your decoys.

While the entire line-up of single reed Sutter Basin Duck Calls are easy to blow, some of our customers simply prefer a double reed call and find them easier to control. Unfortunately, in the past these hunters had to settle for lower quality, mass produced calls. Adding to the dilemma, these calls often failed to deliver a convincing full range of duck sounds. Sutter Basin Duck Calls has solved this problem with our short barrel double reed call. Hand tuned with the same materials and quality as our single reed calls, we have developed a double reed that is not only easy to blow, but delivers great low-end rasp and ducky mid-range quacks and hails. This call is nothing short of pure duck, and even if you are single reed caller you will want this call on your lanyard. It's a double that blows like a single due to the J -frame design. Since its introduction in 2008, the Tule Short Barrel has been our number 1 selling duck call.

Introducing the SRM! This open water, single reed style call is a redesign of our very popular and capable Sutter Outing single reed call. We've added spit grooves to the tone board to ensure a smooth worry-free calling experience and we updated the back bore which results in very ducky sounds from the ringing top end on down to the bottom nasally quacks of the call. Those late season northern red legs that test your duck hunting skills won't have a chance...Go ahead and put the new SRM on your lanyard, you won't be disappointed, but the ducks might!

Weâre bringing back our old Pacific style speck call that we called the âBarred-Upâ. This was our first Speck call that we introduced back in 2008. We stopped production of the âBarred-Upâ in 2012 and replaced it with newer designs. Since then, weâve received a large number of requests to reintroduce this call. So, with some minor re-engineering of the call barrel and a few cosmetic changes to the outside, ITâS BACK ⊠and with a vengeance. This call has always sounded amazing and to this day will grab any Speckle Bellyâs attention. The re-engineered barrel retains the full sweetness of our old âBarred-Upâ, yet makes air control even easier. If you are a Speck hunter, check this one out. Youâll want to add this call to your lanyard. Just like the original, the âBarred-Upâ call is very easy to run and is ultra-realistic. The âBarred-Upâ is offered in black acrylic with several different band color options.

For a while now, weâve been looking for new ways to increase air velocity through a single reed duck call using compound bore size/shape manipulation. Well, we found that sweet spot in our 1-5X single reed. This call has a ton of middle and bottom end duck. Itâs super easy to control and will easily produce huge volume or soft and whiney lonesome hen sounds. We like to call it a âlive duckâ or âpure meatâ style of call that can pull birds from the Heavens!
