Our Teal / Wigeon whistle is easy to use and blow. When mixed in with Mallard calling, these whistles will have those late season birds diving into your decoys. Try cupping your hand over the whistle hole by forming a âCâ an inch or so above the call opening. Adjust your hand position so that you are not significantly reducing the air coming out of the opening. With this technique youâre looking to produce a somewhat softer or less bright tone. Once you get this call mastered, Wigeon will talk to you all the way into your decoys. -

For a while now, weâve been looking for new ways to increase air velocity through a single reed duck call using compound bore size/shape manipulation.
